We Wrote Our First Patent In 1993..
The first patent was written for my father in 1993 to protect his Superhook ladder bracket idea, this led onto me forming Aspect Products Ltd back in the 1990's.
I first started on the road to becoming successful by helping with the ladder hook, I was presented with a welded piece of basic metal but it worked very well. This is how many inventions begin, just a simple idea.
We decided that is was effective and so began to study how to take the item to the market, this included how to protect it first of all.
The first patent document was written and filed and we then proceeded to travel from factory to factory to have The Superhook developed. The product was carefully built and packaged, with slight additions and it was sold on to Crown Berger Ltd to be retailed in all of their 230 UK trade centres to great success.
This first step grew into a business and over the next few years, after an appearance in the BBC news, I was then approached by many people asking for help. Most of the work tended to be patents to protect the inventions in the earlier days but we also helped to sell and licence many, including The Tyre Monitor, The Frosty Glass and The Pack Saw, all global sellers and the Tyre Monitor went on to many car brands.
Now as Patent Protect we offer a service that all UK inventors can afford and ensures quality patents and work.
In more recent years the business has increased its place in both patents and marketing, with a compact, efficient team to enable me to provide this service to you in an affordable way, keeping business costs lower.
